5th Annual “Stags Run for Stags”

Race Weekend

October 4-6, 2024

*In-person race on campus: Saturday, October 5, 2024*

Stags Run for Stags is celebrating its 5th Anniversary! Last year, over 250 Stags and friends of Fairfield participated in the Student Alumni Association's Annual Stags Run for Stags, helping to raise thousands of dollars in funds that directly benefitted current Fairfield University students. 

Whether you’re running at home, or on campus with us, we hope you'll join us this year! This year’s race weekend will again include an in-person component with a 2.5 mile fun run (or walk) on campus at Fairfield University on October 5! Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the run kicking off promptly at 10 a.m.

Participants will receive a race bib to commemorate their run (virtual participants will receive a link to download their bib via email ahead of the race). And, as always, your registration fee goes to benefit the Fairfield Fund, helping to directly support students in need at Fairfield University. 

How to Participate:
Register online. Registration is $20 per person for alumni, parents, and friends and $15 per person for current students.. The first 25 alumni to register will receive additional surprise Fairfield University swag!

• Compete individually or create a team of fellow Stags!
• Choose how you’ll participate:
  • On-campus Fun Run/Walk (approximately 2.5 mile loop of campus)
  • Virtual Run/Walk/Bike in the distance of your choosing
• Participating virtually? Map your route! Use apps such as Map My Run, USATF - America's Running Routes, or WalkJogRun or run on your local athletic track. Note: This is not an officially timed/qualifying event.
• Document your run/walk with us by sharing your photos with us on social media by tagging @fairfieldualumni and @fairfieldsaa on Instagram and using #StagsRunforStags, or email photos to us at alumni@fairfield.edu. Various social media contests will take place during the weekend. More information is on our registration page.
