About
It takes the whole day to educate the whole person.
That's why learning at Episcopal is 24/7.
On March 26, we set a goal to reach 700 donors in 24 hours. Our alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends answered the call, and we ended the day with
1,208 donors giving $404,915!
While this one-day challenge highlights the impact that a mere 24 hours can make, the true power of our community is that we show up for each other every day throughout the year—not just on special occasions. We are incredibly grateful that, after yesterday's success, this community has thus far donated over $2.6 million to the Roll Call this year, over 75 percent of our total goal for the school year!
Thank you to all of the amazing people who support our students, and especially to the 13 generous alumni from the 1990s and 2000s who stepped up to challenge our community with a total of $51,248 in additional Roll Call gifts:

Shout out to the three groups who led the community in donor numbers:
The Class of 2019
Seniors reached 100% participation!
The Class of 2018
Our youngest alumni class won the naming rights to a new crew boat!
Sophomore Parents / Grandparents
These parents came together with 55 donors to win the a dress down day for the Class of 2021!
Why do these gifts matter? Your donations to the Roll Call account for around ten percent of our operating budget each year. That extra ten percent not only allows us to recruit and retain fantastic faculty members, but it allows them to focus on what they do best: teaching and mentoring our students. It means that teachers don't need to do special fundraising efforts to bring great speakers to campus, take classes into Washington, or replace old equipment for their classrooms or teams. We have their needs covered because we have you as our partners.
If you missed the chance to support EHS during this challenge, there is still time! The 2018-19 fiscal year ends on June 30, and we can use your help to make sure all of our students' financial needs are covered. Thank you again!
