This fall, we will officially launch the new "Music Therapy Center at Elizabethtown College" in a new dedicated space overlooking Lake Placida. This new space will be 100% ADA accessible and offers us exciting new expansions of our music therapy program.
This new space needs video equipment that would allow students to observe a session through a private video channel. Along with a refresh to the dedicated space, we can complete this entire project for about $5,000.
And, here's some exciting news -- a music therapy major alum has offered a matching challenge to support music therapy. They have committed to double every gift made to golf on Power of One Day – up to $1,000! A $100 gift means $200, $500 becomes $1,000. There is no better time than Power of One Day to give a gift and show your support for our music program.
In the coming year, we are excited for our future that includes expansions in history and English curricula, theatre courses, our first completing cohort in medical humanities, and the continued launch of Asian studies and Medical Spanish.
