Undergraduate Symposium Donor Impact
A prestigious and treasured EMU tradition, the Undergraduate Symposium celebrates the exceptional academic work of Eastern Michigan University undergraduate students. This annual event showcases student research and creative projects.
Hosted by the College of Arts & Sciences, the Symposium began in 1981 and was the first of its kind in the nation. Symposium participation is open to undergraduate students from all colleges and disciplines of EMU who are guided by a faculty mentor and supported by their respective department/school.
Over 300 students from all undergraduate disciplines participate in this annual spring event.
This year, the 44th annual event will be held in person on Friday, March 22nd, 2024.
As a donor, you provide students with opportunities to work with faculty on mentored research or creative projects throughout their EMU career.
Donors allow us, through the Symposium and its related awards and needs, to create a dynamic and unique cumulative learning experience through one-on-one student/faculty partnerships.
We appreciate our donors as the financial contributions they provide inspire and support students' academic success at EMU!
We hope you will consider supporting the Undergraduate Symposium.
If you are interested in naming opportunities as part of a larger sponsorship, we are happy to work with you to accomplish your corporate or individual goals. Please contact us at 734.487.0079.
