Honors College

We are fortunate to be located in a state that values and supports higher education, yet we couldn't do what we do if it weren't for the generous donations from private individuals as well. With your help, our scholarships support nearly 500 students in various programs and disciplines, helping them to engage not only in rigorous course work, but also to participate in various “high impact” experiences that enrich their educations, such as study abroad, undergraduate research, community service, and internships. A donation today both invests in the futures of our current students and helps to ensure that the Honors College is here to serve the next generation. 

• Next fall, two new Honors Scholars programs will welcome new cohorts: the Changemaker Scholars program, which has a social innovation focus, and the Global Citizen Scholars Program, featuring a global learning focus.
• Two brand new units have been created within the Honors College: Nationally Competitive Scholarships, which will focus on helping students to apply for these prestigious awards, and Student & Alumni Engagement, which will develop additional experiential learning opportunities for students and find opportunities to connect current students and alumni in meaningful ways.
• A new partnership with Harlaxton College in Grantham, England
• Creation of the ETSU Global Year program, which enhances internalization at ETSU
• Giving Challenge: The student & alumni programs manager will donate $150 if ten Honors College alumni make a donation.
