Offer a ChallengeETSU Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy is a nationally-recognized program in Johnson City, Tennessee, that prepares students for a variety of rewarding careers in pharmacy. The college was founded by the community in 2005 with a mission to develop progressive, team-oriented pharmacists that improve health care, focusing on rural and underserved communities.
On Day of Giving, Gatton encourages donations for any of these three designations:
- Dr. Brian Odle Scholarship—This scholarship is named in honor of Dr. Brian Odle, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, who passed away Feb. 15, 2021, after a battle with cancer. Learn more about him at etsu.edu/pharmacy/honoring_odle.php.
- Student Emergency Fund—This fund is designed to provide financial assistance to currently enrolled Gatton College of Pharmacy students who are experiencing an unexpected loss or hardship that affects the student’s ability to remain at Gatton. This could include, but is not limited to, a death in their immediate family, loss of residence or serious illness of the student or family member.
- Class of 2010 Scholarship—This scholarship helps future pharmacists attending Gatton while honoring the rich legacy that precedes them from the inaugural 2010 class.
Thank you!
