Making a gift to the College of Graduate and Professional Studies helps each department expand their reach. With additional funds, Graduate and Continuing Studies can offer more professional development opportunities, sponsor collaborative recruiting events, provide students with research and conference funding opportunities, and enhance the ability to help students reach their academic, personal, and professional goals.  These are some of the areas making up our college:

  • ETSU Professional Development.  Specializes in planning and implementing conferences, seminars, non-credit courses, certification training courses, and children's programs.
  • ETSU Transfer and Adult Student Outreach.  Focuses on regional recruitment, the development of partnerships with area community colleges, creating new and updating existing articulation agreements, and constantly searching for ways to create a more seamless transition for our transfer students.
  • ETSU Division of Cross-Disciplinary Studies.  Offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs and takes an interdisciplinary approach that combines lifelong learning, intellectual flexibility, and professional preparation.
  • ETSU Graduate School.  Assists students with their educational journeys. Offers 120 high quality graduate and professional degree options. Connects students to a high value education in a region that provides a great quality of life.
  • Global Sport LeadershipProvides the working sport practitioner with a global view of sport leadership. This 3-year, 100% online doctoral program uses a cohort model to help professionals develop higher level skills and credentialing.
  • Strong BRAIN Institute.  Promotes awareness and empirical study of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Focuses on evidence-based practices that prevent, reduce, or mitigate the negative effects of ACEs on health and health disparities and promotes a trauma-informed citizenry and workforce in the Appalachian Highlands.
  • Child and Family Health Institute.  Advances knowledge around child and family health. Serves as a site for collaborative research on child and family health.
