"One Day. One Doane." our 24-hour day of giving for Doane is back! From 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. on March 20-21, join the entire Doane Community and show your support for Doane by making a gift to the Doane Fund. Gifts of all sizes will count toward our goal of achieving 450 donors in 24 hours. We are adding a new twist this year - the "Battle of the Decades". The twist encourages the different decades to rally together and raise money for Doane as one, to see who will be the Champion of the Decades.
The Doane Fund is the cornerstone of philanthropy at Doane, supporting: financial aid and scholarships, faculty & staff salaries and development, academics, athletics, fine arts, and campus life - everything that makes Doane, DOANE.
BONUS: When 450 donors demonstrate their support by making a gift during "One Day. One Doane.", we will unlock $75,000 for the Doane Fund from the Doane Board of Trustees.

#OneDayOneDoane 2024 was a great success thanks to 490 donors who made a gift to the Doane Fund! We reached our goal of 450, which unlocked an additional $75,000 from our Board of Trustees. This brought the overall money raised in 24 hours to $140,023.
The “Battle of the Decades” brought forth some friendly competition, with each decade striving to reach 5% of its total donor base as a goal. In the end, the 1960s finished in first place and was crowned the champion with 96%, with the ’80s finishing second at 84% and the 90s coming in third at 73%.
Also of note, the decade claiming bragging rights to most dollars raised was the ’70s, with the most overall donors coming from the ’90s.
