In an increasingly global village, everyone should be able to take advantage of an international education, regardless of the many challenges to access. Over the past six years, DeAfrica in partnership with the University of Virginia, has provided over 33,000 scholarships and reached learners in all 54 nations in Africa by providing free access to dozens of online business courses through the ASC program. These scholarships bring about DeAfrica’s mission of scaling technology to create lasting economic impact and promote gender equality in Africa through education.
DeAfrica plays a major role in the transformation of thousands of lives in the continent, a place with many challenges: poverty, lack of quality education and unemployment.
