De La Salle Giving Week is October 23-27, 2023 and the theme for the week of giving is Spartans Shine.
The Gospel of Matthew tells us to, “...let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
During Giving Week, we will share how our “Spartans Shine” on campus. Students shine through their leadership and activities, both inside and outside of the classroom. Our faculty shine by being a guiding light to our young men. Support from our community provides a glimmer of hope to families in need who wish to have their sons attend De La Salle who might not be able to afford it.
Each day of De La Salle Giving Week will feature a different way Spartans “shine” on campus and how you help make a difference.

Today is all about our financial aid programs, and we are starting off with a huge match opportunity for our Bishop Cummins program. Check out the video message from alumnus and Bishop Cummins Coordinator, Garth Adlao from the Class of 1993. Thanks to the generosity of Frank ‘73 and Lynn Wagner, all donations to Bishop Cummins will be matched up to $20,000!
For those of you new to our school, our Bishop Cummins program supports students and families from diverse social, cultural and economic backgrounds, including first-generation college-bound students. In this effort, it provides significant tuition assistance, as well as support for many incidentals, along with a challenging and supportive learning environment. It is a program that means a lot to our school!
