Robert H. Garff Memorial Scholarship

The Eccles School community lost a hero and champion when our dear friend, Bob Garff, passed away from coronavirus complications on Sunday, March 29.

To honor Bob's life and legacy, alumni and friends of the School are coming together to create a scholarship in Bob's memory. We invite you to make a gift today and help us continue to support Eccles students, just as Bob did.

Because Bob was such an important member of our community, the Eccles School will start the scholarship with $10,000, and also match 50 percent of all gifts to the scholarship. When the family learned of this scholarship, they offered to match donations dollar for dollar, leading to a combined 150% match on all gifts.

Thank you for helping us honor this great man. To quote one of his frequent sayings, "Thanks, thanks, and ever more thanks."

Proceeds will establish the Robert H. Garff Endowed Scholarship and be awarded to an Eccles student with criteria selected by the family. If funds raised do not exceed $25,000 within the next 5 years, donations will be given out as annual scholarships.
