About

Make a monthly gift to CCV's General Scholarship Fund of $5/month or a one-time gift of $100 or more by June 21, 2021, and we’ll send you a pair of limited-edition CCV socks as our way of saying thanks!

Your generosity today is a gift of opportunity. Scholarships and financial aid make a CCV education accessible to students of all backgrounds, many of whom could not attend without your financial support. When you give, you help students say “yes!” to CCV.

If you have any questions about the campaign or socks, please email development@ccv.edu

CCV Socks - Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I get my CCV socks?

  • Make a qualifying gift to CCV's General Scholarship Fund or another fund.

What is a qualifying gift?

  • A qualifying gift is a monthly gift of $5+, or a one-time gift of $100+. If another donor has issued a matching gift, it will not impact your qualifying gift amount. The sock incentive is based on your gift amount.

What if I want the socks but I don't want to make a gift online?

  • I'm sorry, but at this time, recurring donations must be made online.

Can I opt out of receiving socks if I only want to support our CCV community?

  • Yes, you can opt out of this incentive.

I just made a gift online but I accidentally forgot to provide my mailing address. Can I still get my socks?

  • Yes!  If you made a qualifying gift, just forward your gift receipt email to development@ccv.edu along with your mailing address. If you can't find your gift receipt email, you can also send your name, date, and amount of your gift, and your mailing address to development@ccv.edu.

What size and material are the socks?

  • The socks are unisex and fit most sizes. They are dress style, thin stretchy socks made of a polyester/spandex blend.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

  • Yes, using IRS guidelines, the sock value is below the threshold. Your gift is tax-deductible, but you may always consult a tax professional.

Can you mail my socks to Canada?

  • No, unfortunately, we can only mail to the 48 contiguous United States.
