Rise Up for Mines
During this challenging time, we are inspired by the collective resiliency, compassion and grit of our students, faculty and staff, families and entire Oredigger community. COVID-19 has impacted Mines in unprecedented ways as students moved off-campus mid-semester and all learning transitioned to virtual environments.
Mines remains dedicated to providing the best engineering and applied science education and is working to remove barriers that may threaten the success of our students.
We understand that this situation is causing much stress, uncertainty and disappointment for most people. We have heard from alumni and friends who want to help. For those able to provide support to our community, this Rise Up for Mines campaign offers three ways to make an impact:
The Mines Fund
Help students remain on track to earn their degrees and enter the workforce as highly sought, distinguished graduates. Gifts to The Mines Fund will sustain funding for scholarships, student life initiatives, technology and research and innovation.
Student Emergency Fund
Provide immediate resources for students facing crisis, including our neediest students impacted by COVID-19.
Employee Relief Fund Mines employees rising up in support of each other during a time of need, especially in the wake of COVID-19.
Thank you for coming together as an OreGiver community to Rise Up for Mines. Cultivating a sense of pride in giving back is essential to the vision of MINES@150. Ours is a service-oriented culture, built on gratitude for what we have received and a desire to pay it forward. OreGivers are valued for their generosity in all they do to for Mines and through Mines.
Did you know that your gift to Mines might qualify for up to a $300 charitable tax deduction under the new CARES Act?
