We recognize this is a challenging time for many. Our unfolding world needs our students to be leaders who think critically, act ethically and reach out with compassion and justice to address the needs of our world.

Your gift enables the College to continue fortifying our students, developing compassion, reflection and service to one another – leadership qualities needed in the face of uncertainty wrought by the pandemic, recent protests and civil unrest. This is what we do at Holy Cross.

Gifts to the Holy Cross Fund support all aspects of campus life and programs. As you consider making your gift, several available funds directly support our students: 

• Financial Aid: Holy Cross is committed to meeting the full demonstrated need of all admitted students. Given today’s financial environment, the need for financial aid support is greater than ever. 
• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Fund: By adding DEI as an option for giving through the Holy Cross Fund, we invite alumni to take action by supporting ongoing and enhanced initiatives that help foster an inclusive and antiracist campus environment for students who have been underrepresented at Holy Cross. 
• Bishop Healy Emergency Fund: This is a last resort safety net of funds that can be used for emergency expenses for current students of color.
• Black Student Union (BSU) Student Opportunity Fund: Provides BSU members with stipends, housing and other costs associated with internships or other high impact experiences – affording equal access to these important opportunities.
• Emergency Relief Fund: Helps meet the unanticipated travel, technology and emergency financial aid needs of our students affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
