The Power of Purple

This campaign ended on April 18, 2020, but you can still make a gift to College of the Holy Cross by clicking here!

Our alumni are living proof of the value of a Holy Cross education. All you have to do is turn on the evening news to see the impact Crusaders are making on the world in public ways, as well as in very local ways. In coming together, we can support today’s students when they need our help the most – because the world needs our graduates more than ever.

We begin this day with tremendous support. Our Board of Trustees has stepped forward for Holy Cross in the past, and today is no different. A group of Trustees who originally planned to lead our giving day with challenge dollars has generously offered to fulfill their commitments today, totaling $1.1 million, in recognition that our students need support now more than ever.

If you are able, your gift to the College on April 17 supports the next generation
of Holy Cross leaders - leaders who will take on the challenges of tomorrow.

Let’s come together to care for our students and our community.
Let’s show the world the Power of Purple.

With the impact of COVID-19, we are prioritizing giving options and funds that directly support our students and emergency needs:

  • Holy Cross Fund: Unrestricted gifts to the annual fund offer the College important flexibility to be nimble in times of uncertainty. The Holy Cross Fund supports all areas of the academic enterprise and the Holy Cross community.
  • Emergency Relief Fund: Established to help meet the unanticipated travel, technology and emergency financial aid needs of our students affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
  • Financial Aid: Holy Cross is committed to meeting the full demonstrated need of all admitted students. Given today’s financial environment, the need for financial aid support is greater than ever.
  • Crusader Athletics Fund: Gifts to CAF provide the flexibility needed to support student-athletes during this period of distance learning so they can continue to develop and return to campus, ready to compete at their highest level of excellence.
  • Bishop Healy Emergency Fund: Assists ALANA students by creating a last resort safety net of funds for emergency expenses, including books and resources for classes, travel and other basic needs.

Gifts to other designations may be made by calling the Holy Cross Fund office toll free at 877-433-1843.
