Why support this campaign?

Did you know that 1 in 4 students experience food insecurity? Food insecurity means that a student is without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.  The purpose of Storm's Cupboard at CSS is to provide immediate food relief for students experiencing food insecurity. Any CSS student who requests access to Storm's Cupboard is given access.  With your gift to Storm's Cupboard, you are helping with our overall mission to eliminate hunger at CSS.  Additionally, you are providing students in need with programs that provide food, promote the value of nutrition, increase self-sufficiency, and instill hope. In doing so, Storm's Cupboard helps to ensure that food relief has a more meaningful, enduring impact.
