November's here and that can only mean one thing...
2017 College Sailing Match Race National Championships and we are hosting here in Charleston! In honor of these exciting times in the sailing community, we are thrilled to announce our very own Race for the Match!
Generous parents have challenged our sailing family of alumni, parents and friends to raise $25,000 to the Sailing Director's Excellence Fund. Once we reach $25,000, these anonymous parents will donate an additional $25,000 to bring us to $50,000! If you know Coach Greg Fisher, you know he will use these funds to enhance our already world class sailing program and bring it to even greater heights.
The "Race" kicks off on Wednesday, November 1st and concludes on Sunday, November 12th at 11:59pm. Join in on the fun by sharing this page with friends and family, keep an eye on the "thermometer" to see our success, and be sure to stay up to date on all of the match race excitement through the weekend of November 11 and 12.
Let the Race for the Match begin!

Good luck, Cougars!

Stefano Peschiera has won the 2017 Men's Singlehanded National Championship! Gerald Williams was very close behind finishing 2nd place. The Lady Cougars also sailed an exceptional Women's National Championship with Kelly-Ann Arrindell finishing 3rd and Marian Williams finishing 5th!
Our Coed Offshore Cougars had a fantastic run at the 2017 Kennedy Cup, but could not quite hold on to their top position during Sunday racing. They ended up finishing 5th place just a couple of points shy of the podium.
