Clarkson University Athletics Giving Day 2020 is an online fundraising drive taking place for 24 hours on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. It’s a time for alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends to come together and celebrate, support and invest in our Golden Knights Varsity Athletic Teams.

For the first time in Clarkson Athletics history our varsity teams won’t be in competition this semester. With the fall season on hold, we are reminded that our Golden Knights are so much more than competitors. They are model citizens on campus and the heart and soul of our community.  

This semester, student-athletes and athletics staff will have time to reconnect, strengthen, and prepare for upcoming competition. NOW, more than ever, we need YOUR help to move forward.

In the spirit of competition, Challenge Dollars are also up for grabs. The teams that have the largest number of donors, and increase their donor number percentage the most from last year's Athletics Giving Day, will receive additional prize money. EVERY donor and EVERY dollar makes an impact.

REBUILDING TOGETHER AS ONE TEAM

The COVID-19 pandemic has created many new challenges and new protocols for safely staging practice and training sessions as well as future competition protocol which have increased costs at a time when budget constraints have never been tighter.

Your gift will help us overcome these challenges by supporting:

• Strength training and conditioning for student-athletes as our teams rebuild after months at home
• Re-energizing and expanding Golden Knights Leadership opportunities
• COVID-related costs such as expanded facility support for training and conditioning, intensified cleaning protocols, and resources to accommodate numerous new health and safety protocols

When the stands are quieter than usual, your generosity lets our student athletes know that you are behind them, cheering them on.
