The competition in the #cougarchallenge is real, just ask Jeff Greene ‘92 and Karen Patterson-Greene ‘92. They want Clark Athletics (and their respective teams) to succeed so much that they are delivering the message themselves. Our alumni athletes may have left the field, but that doesn’t mean the Clark athletic spirit has left them. 

  Clark alumni: Get in the game by joining Jeff and Karen as they, and each of our 17 varsity sports, compete for the top spot in the #cougarchallenge. In addition, an anonymous donor has pledged to donate $2 for every alumni donor up to $500. Let’s make sure we’re meeting their match and commitment by giving today!

• Keith Hall P'20, P'23 is matching $1 per $1 donated up to $1,000 for Women’s Lacrosse (only next $765 will be matched)
• Barry D. Epstein '62 is matching $1 per $1 donated up to $1,000 for Men’s Tennis (only next 282 will be matched)
• Bunny LaDouceur ’80 and Rebecca Sherer ’79 is matching $1 per $1 donated up to $1,300 for Women’s Tennis (only next $1,027 will be matched)
• Elyse Darefsky '79 is matching $1 per $1 donated up to $1,500 for Volleyball (only next $743 will be matched)
• Leslie Jaiven ’76, Marie Rajcula L’Heureux ’77, Pamela Oliver ’78, and Rebecca Sherer ’79 is matching $1 per $1 donated up to $2,850 for Women’s Basketball (only next $2,615 will be matched)

Women’s Soccer has kicked into high gear and are on top right now. Players like Mo ‘20 are doing their best to make sure their team comes out on top!

Out of the 430 donors so far, 26% are students. That goes to show that when support is needed, you can count on Clarkies! Parents, alumni, faculty and friends: do you think you can catch up to the students in time? Keep it coming!

Well that didn’t take long. Our initial goal of  324 donors has been met but the competition is just heating up! Which teams will take home the top prizes? The men’s and women’s teams with the highest participation rates will each receive an additional $250 for their team’s funds.

The competition is getting fierce. We’re only hours in and two of our matches have already been met! Gavin Viano '01 matched $250 for Swimming & Diving and Debra Eyges '78, P'11 matched $500 for Rowing. Way to go!

The swimming & diving team are hosting their alumni meet this afternoon and they are making sure their favorite team wins the #cougarchallenge!
