The Frederick Douglass Scholars program was established at Clarion University to create scholarship and research to promote the principles of social justice through student and faculty participation to exemplify the spirit of Douglass' work.

  • Funding to attend and/or present at the annual Frederick Douglass Scholars conference
  • Field trips to local underground railroad sites and Washington, D.C., museums
