About

Join us, October 11-12! ๐Ÿ“ฃ

Our generous, tight-knit community helped CMC make history during the Campaign for CMC: Responsible Leadership. Collectively, during the 6th annual 1946 Challenge, let's continue to prepare the next generation of students for thoughtful and productive lives and responsible leadership in business, government, and the professions. Join us with a gift of $19.46 to an area of CMC that is meaningful to you, and become a Challenge advocate.

Mark your calendars now!

The 1946 Challenge

As a homage to CMC's founding year, the 1946 Challenge is an annual fundraising campaign inspiring 1,946 donors in 1,946 minutes. Alumni, parents, students, and staff and faculty are encouraged to participate by making a gift of $19.46, or any amount, to an area of the College that's meaningful to them to maximize collective impact. What makes this campaign successful is the hard work of volunteers, like 1946 Challenge Advocates!

1946 Challenge Advocates

1946 Challenge Advocates are incredibly important volunteers. They promote awareness of the Challenge and the powerful effects of philanthropy on the everyday lives of CMC students. By becoming an advocate and encouraging your peers to make a gift, you are amplifying your impact and expanding opportunities for current and future students.

A Challenge Advocate:

  • Raises awareness on social media by posting content and sharing with their networks to increase engagement
  • Connects with CMC peers via phone, email, text, and social media
  • Makes a philanthropic gift of any amount meaningful to their CMC journey, and encourages others to follow their example
