CBU Workshop Series: Estate Planning 101

We're excited to announce the first installment in our workshop series, Estate Planning 101.

Establishing a will or estate plan can often seem like a daunting prospect. In fact, some estimates show that more than 60% of Americans don’t currently have an up-to-date will. CBU’s Office of Advancement is aiming to take some of the mystery out of estate planning with a free information session for alumni and CBU faculty and staff.

This session will provide background and address key considerations related to the estate planning process, including goals for estate planning, how assets are transferred and taxed after death, and common approaches to estate planning, including wills and trusts. There will be time reserved to field questions about the estate planning process. Light refreshments will be provided.
