Project 270

This campaign ended on September 28, 2017, but you can still make a gift to Case Western Reserve University by clicking here!

Project 270 is an initiative to raise at least $270 by September 27th, which breaks down to $10 from each of the 27 Greek chapters at CWRU, for The Emergency Dues Fund.

The Emergency Dues Fund (EDF) helps members of the Greek community who are in financial distress pay their chapter dues. This is not a scholarship, but an emergency fund for students who find themselves in unplanned financial distress from events such as injury, death of the family member causing financial hardship, or other unplanned financial emergencies that would make the applicant unable to pay their dues. Because of the nature of most Greek organizations, an inability to pay dues will result in the person having to drop out of the organization - usually meaning they are never able to re-join.

A past recipient of EDF said:

Without the EDF, I would have been left with no way to meet the financial obligations of my sorority. I have always paid my own dues out of pocket, and at the very beginning of the semester I lost my campus work-study job. This made it impossible to pay my dues without causing myself a great deal of financial distress. The EDF helped me out of a tough situation and allowed me to continue participating in the sorority I love.”

Please donate to support this worthy cause and help us reach our goal.
