Humanities@Work

This campaign ended on November 08, 2018, but you can still make a gift to Case Western Reserve University by clicking here!

Humanities@Work helps students identify and explore meaningful career paths. Each semester, the Baker-Nord Center hosts undergraduate conversations with regional leaders, as well as monthly workshops, resume reviews, and career counseling.

Humanities@Work also supports early career exploration through stipends for unpaid summer internships. Over the past two years, we have had a real uptick in the number of students applying for internship support!

Your gift will directly support a student so that he or she has the opportunity to work with the employer of their choice, nationally or abroad. Last year’s summer stipend recipients worked all over country, as well as in Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Israel, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Most of these internships were in the fields of nonprofit management, primary education, public policy, museum curation, and healthcare; the program supports humanities students in any career path they choose!
