At Case Western Reserve, we believe that exercise benefits body and mind. The Department of Athletics offers varsity, club, and intramural sports, as well as a wide array of courses offered by our Department of Physical Education. Also, health and wellness conscious students, faculty and staff utilize multiple athletic facilities, full of cardio equipment and weights— in one of them, Veale Convocation and Athletic Center, you’ll find two indoor pools, a track, basketball and tennis courts, a rock climbing wall and more.
Case Western Reserve University Spartans compete in Division III varsity athletics. More than 500 students participate in 19 varsity sports, including football, basketball, swimming and diving, baseball, softball, track, volleyball, cross country, tennis, soccer and wrestling.
