CWRU ALL IN Together 2020

This campaign ended on June 17, 2020, but you can still make a gift to Case Western Reserve University by clicking here!

The Day of Giving has traditionally been a one-day effort to inspire alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff to give back to the areas they love most at Case Western Reserve University.

This year, the event takes on even greater purpose amidst the global pandemic. Case Western Reserve is leading a number of initiatives in the fight against COVID-19, as well as continuing to help our students as they study remotely.

Today is your opportunity to support these causes—or any area of the university you choose. Every gift, of any amount, will be an investment in our efforts related to the pandemic—and beyond.

So, this year on Case Western Reserve University's Day of Giving, let's go All In Together to support our efforts across campus now, and in the future.

Thank you for supporting CWRU!

In addition to the eight schools and Athletics, here are other areas in need of support...

  • Flora Stone Mather Women's Center - Pandemics historically disproportionately affect women. Times during COVID-19 are no different. Isolation around shelter in place disconnects the natural networks that women depend upon for mentoring, support, and empowerment. And, importantly, women face a higher risk of gender-based violence and economic stress due to the increased burden of juggling caregiving, housework, and work responsibilities. Over the last two months, the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women has sprung into action to provide services to help shift the gender dynamic for women and support them through the challenges that have become more relevant during COVID-19. Gifts to the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will provide these support and mentoring services to women as well as assist women affected by gender-based violence during COVID-19.
  •  Alumni Association of CWRU Scholarship - Case Western Reserve University’s vibrant campus community benefits enormously from the diverse students we bring together. Scholarships fill a crucial financial gap, enabling those in need to pursue a world-class education at CWRU by relieving some or all of the burden of paying for education. As part of CWRU’s ThinkScholarships: Imagine the Future campaign, The Alumni Association works to make an impact in the lives of current students through an annual scholarship. Join us in supporting undergraduate students who have demonstrated a passion for learning, held active roles in extracurricular activities focused on leadership, and might not otherwise attend Case Western Reserve University, based on their financial need.
  • Kelvin Smith Library Imagine Fund - While students were working and completing their studies remotely, KSL staff worked with publishers and information providers to significantly increase access to electronic content and expanded the hours research experts were available for students and professors. A gift to the KSL Imagine Fund will allow us to continue to offer expanded programs and services such as these for the campus community.
  •  Diversity Champion Annual Fund - At the discretion of Case Western Reserve's VP for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity Robert Solomon, the Diversity Champion Annual Fund allows the university to strengthen campus programming and support of diversity and inclusion initiatives, especially as we work to create a better climate and community for people of color.
  •  International Student Support Fund - The International Student Support Fund was created to specifically assist international students. They can have very unique challenges that are rooted in being legally present in the United States as a non-citizen. This fund can help them overcome difficult obstacles brought on by the pandemic including loss of income for tuition and living expenses, travel costs and more.
  •  President's Strategic Initiative Fund - The President's Strategic Initiative Fund is a vital source of unrestricted funds that enables the president to advance cutting-edge programs and research. These funds allow Case Western Reserve University to be entrepreneurial by fostering innovation and allowing the institution to seize opportunities when they arise.
  • Parents and Family Fund - The Parents and Family Fund will help the Division of Student Affairs adapt its activities and programs to help keep students connected and engaged and ensure they have access to the support they need, whether they remain on campus or are living and learning remotely.
  • Class of 2020 Pave It Forward Program - This Day of Giving, consider honoring the Class of 2020 by donating to the Class of 2020 Pave It Forward Fund. The Class of 2020 didn’t have a traditional senior year, so we would like to commemorate their experience by installing a brick paver at the Linsalata Alumni Center on your behalf! Your gift of any amount will help leave a permanent mark on campus.
  • Remote Entrepreneurship Program (REP) - In response to many Case Western Reserve University students experiencing delays or disruptions to their planned summer jobs and internships as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship and Post-Graduate Planning & Experiential Education have teamed up to create the Remote Entrepreneurship Program (REP). This internship experience offers students the opportunity to work remotely on projects for startups or small businesses during the summer 2020 months. About 70% of the projects are with sponsors located in Greater Cleveland but also include CWRU alumni sponsors in New York, Atlanta and Hong Kong. In addition to being matched with a startup to align fields and interests, each student accepted to the REP program will receive a stipend of $500. Your support can help students continue the experiential learning opportunities they otherwise may have missed out on this summer.
