You can energize the Student Food Insecurity Fund today!
The fund supports the CMU Pantry, an on-campus pantry committed to combating hunger among our students. Any and all students can attend the pantry, and find items not just for themselves, but for their families as well. The Pantry provides nutritious food, ready-made meals and other necessities at no cost, and all students are encouraged to shop if they have need. With the support of the Pantry, CMU students enjoy a healthier, more balanced university experience.
The CMU Pantry is committed to reducing hunger among students by providing nutritious food at no cost. Last year, we served 1,423 students, with 5,059 total visits and this year, we are already set to exceed those numbers. The Office of Student Leadership, Involvement and Civic Engagement is planning to add spices, more produce, culturally relevant foods, frozen entrees and more with the continued support of the CMU community. However, we can't do it alone.
Your gift to the Student Food Insecurity Fund this Giving CMU Day can power students’ days with nutrition and necessities they need. 💡
