You have the power to support Carnegie Mellon University Pipes and Drums as they perform and compete at The World Pipe Band Championships, Glasgow, Scotland in 2025!
Bagpipes, Pipes and Drums have been synonymous with Carnegie Mellon since 1939. The band performs an important role at major campus events such as Commencement and Spring Carnival for generations. In recent years, the band has won the American Pipe Band Championships three times; this project would enable students and alumni the exciting opportunity of performing at The World Pipe Band Championships. In the band's 85 year history, it has never been to Scotland, the homeland of our founder Andrew Carnegie; with the band's continued success in the USA, it is our goal to go and put Carnegie Mellon on the international stage and show the rest of the world what CMU can do.
