About

You have the power to energize the American Marketing Association today!

You have the power to energize CMU’s chapter of the American Marketing Association today! AMA is CMU’s only marketing-focused organization for undergraduate students. As an organization, we aim to provide students with opportunities to:

  • Participate in hands-on consulting projects with local businesses
  • Challenge their creativity and knowledge in competitions
  • Learn from like-minded classmates and leaders through events and workshops

To accomplish our mission, our chapter centers all events and projects around three pillars: Professional Development, Personal Development and Community Outreach. This semester, we trained more than forty student consultants to deliver meaningful projects to four clients, and we hope to expand our impact on more students and local businesses and organizations in the Pittsburgh area.

Gifts to the American Marketing Association will be used to expand professional development and community-building opportunities within our organization. This includes sending more of our members to National AMA’s International Collegiate Conference in the spring, funding more professional development and social events for general members and allowing our graduating seniors in marketing to be inducted into Alpha Mu Alpha (the National Marketing Honor Society).

Giving CMU Day is your chance to illuminate the next bright idea in the American Marketing Association! 💡
