About

You have the power to energize the SCS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Fund!

Your gift to the SCS DEI Fund helps foster diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility and belonging for students, faculty, staff and alumni across the School of Computer Science.

With your help, we provide support for student groups like Women@SCS, SCS4All, ColorStack and more. We manage SCS DEI training for incoming faculty. We extend our reach beyond SCS too, as we sponsor Tech Nights in-person sessions for middle school students and enable student attendance at recruitment conferences across the country. Lastly, in the fall of each year we host OurCS, a three-day research-focused workshop aiming to improve gender balance in computing research.

Your gift to the SCS DEI fund has a direct impact on these efforts and many more to come. Thank you for your support in making our community — and our world — a more diverse, equitable and inclusive place.

Giving CMU Day is your chance to illuminate the next bright idea for SCS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion! 💡
