About

You have the power to energize the Mark Stehlik SCS Alumni Undergraduate Impact Scholarship today!

All SCS undergraduates embody technical excellence, as they face one of the toughest CS curriculums in academia and ultimately become sought-after graduates. But even among this prestigious group, some students stand out and we created the Mark Stehlik SCS Alumni Undergraduate Impact Scholarship to honor them.

The Stehlik Scholarship recognizes and supports SCS undergraduates whose drive for excellence extends beyond the classroom — students who make a difference both in the field of computer science and the world around them – and encourages SCS students to increase their engagement in research and community service.

Your gift helps us recognize inspiring students who mentor younger students, work as TAs, serve on CMU and SCS committees, participate in math competitions, volunteer for local nonprofits, join extracurriculars like CMU Bhangra, Scotch’n’Soda, and Buggy…and so much more, all while carrying a full CS course load.

This Giving CMU Day, on the eve of Mark Stehlik’s retirement in 2025, please help us honor SCS undergrads and Mark's rich legacy by supporting this fund.

Giving CMU Day is your chance to illuminate the next bright idea for the Mark Stehlik Scholarship! 💡
