The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) endowed fund helps to foster and create opportunities for students of all backgrounds — and from around the country — to be considered for CMU sports.
The fund directly supports coaches in their recruitment efforts for prospective students, additional coaches and diversity programming for intercollegiate student-athletes. This year, the DEI Endowed fund helped our coaches travel as far as Alaska for recruitment events, and also made it possible to create two full-time positions. We are grateful for the opportunities this endowment will afford CMU Athletics in our ongoing commitment to diversity.
