PIT - Night at the Opera: Madama Butterfly

Join fellow Tartans for a groundbreaking reimagining of Madama Butterfly at the Benedum Center! This all-new production, co-commissioned by Pittsburgh Opera, features an all-Japanese and Japanese-American creative team, blending Puccini’s classic with 21st-century virtual reality. Experience Pinkerton’s world through a VR lens, where fantasy and reality collide with heartbreaking consequences.

Doors open at 6 PM—meet in the private South Lounge (2nd floor) before the 7 PM performance to mingle with other Tartans. The networking can continue in the lounge during intermission as well!
