It was spring 2008 in the town of colleges, cows and contentment and Carleton seniors were looking forward to commencement and whatever came next…
Little did they know that 15 years later, in the spring of 2023, they would be met with a challenge - the Blockbuster Challenge.
If the Class of 2008 receives gifts from 100 donors between March 30th - April 5th, DVD Fest videos from our past will resurface, and we’ll unlock $25,000 for our 15th reunion gift.
Will we make it? Can we do it?

Carleton’s second-annual Maize & Blue Daize (also) runs March 30 - April 5. Here are some ways to get in the spirit of things.
- Send a Virtual Friday Flower to a fellow Carl on Friday, March 31. Please submit requests no later than 12 noon (Bald Spot Time!) on Friday, March 31.
- Sign up for a Nationwide Coffee with Carls (Saturday, April 1) event near you!
- Gather your #MaizeAndBlueCrew ( your Carleton friends, family, coworkers, etc) and post a pic with the hashtag and tag @carletoncollege for a chance to win limited-edition apparel. A prize goes to the biggest crew caught on camera!
