About

The importance of financial assistance in fulfilling students’ academic and career potential cannot be understated. In today’s economy, the number of students who otherwise might not have access to higher education is increasing. In response, Cabrini University awards a variety of named scholarships to worthy and deserving students.

Make a gift today to one of Cabrini's endowed scholarships. Your gift to a scholarship can have a lasting outcome for our students!

Bridge to Success Scholarship
Contributions to this scholarship have instant impact.  With a donation of $5, $10 or $20 or more, you can make the next year of college possible for a good young person who would otherwise be unable to pursue their higher education at Cabrini. This is an expendable scholarship-meaning we will spend everything we have in this fund each year to help every student we can. This scholarship was used to its fullest in 2019-2020.

The Shirley A. Dixon and Dorthula A. Trent Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Shirley Walker Dixon (’84, MEd’89, EdD’18), who served Cabrini over four decades in a variety of capacities, including as a student, member of the Board of Trustees, member of the faculty, advisor, mentor and donor.

Shirley established this endowed scholarship in her name and in the name of her late cousin, Dorthula A. Trent, to provide resources for current Cabrini students of color to continue pursuing their studies, with preference given to those studying education.

The President Antoinette Iadarola Endowed Fund
The President Antoinette Iadarola Endowed Fund, established through the generosity of various donors in 2008, honors Antoinette Iadarola, PhD, who served as Cabrini President from 1992 to 2008.

In her tenure at Cabrini, President Iadarola's vision resulted in an "extraordinary" higher education environment that educates both hearts and minds. The impact of her efforts remains evident on Cabrini's campus and community to this day--in areas such as the Wolfington Center, which supports community outreach and service learning; the unique partnerships with Catholic Relief Services and the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus; and the  Engagements with the Common Good courses and Justice Matters core curriculum, which helps students develop the skills needed for responsible citizenship in a global society.

Reflecting Dr. Iadarola's legacy of advancing academic programs that engage students with issues of social justice and communities in need, the Fund supports initiatives that link learning to the common good.

Martha Dale Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established through the generosity of alumni, faculty, friends, family, and colleagues of Martha Dale on her retirement as director of alumni relations at Cabrini, a position she held for 26 years. This scholarship is awarded to full-time juniors or seniors in good academic standing.

Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship
The Alumni Association Scholarship was established by alumni and friends of Cabrini. It is awarded to a student entering his or her junior year who has demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or work experience.

Cabrinian Educational Endowed Fund
This scholarship was created in 1992 for the 35th anniversary of Cabrini’s founding. The Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus gifted Cabrini with funds to establish a scholarship to assist deserving students who would otherwise be unable to pursue a higher education.

The General Scholarship
The general scholarship provides support to students in need.
