This year, our Parent Campaign theme is GOING BEYOND. Our teachers work passionately to help every student to go beyond what they think is possible to reach their fullest potential.
Our teachers are so committed that they ALL donate to the school! 100% teacher giving is unheard of in other schools. Last year, our teachers gave over $58,000!
Your gift today shows your appreciation to our teachers for going above and beyond with your children. It also helps to ensure that we continue to hire, develop, and retain the best teachers possible in small classroom settings. Let's show our teachers how much we value them by reaching our campaign goal:
RAISING $40,000
FROM 100% OF OUR FAMILIES!
BENEFITS FOR TEACHERS!
If we reach:
- $20,000 - Breakfast will be served to our teachers
- $40,000 - Lunch will be served to our teachers
When you make a gift, you will have the opportunity to write an encouraging note that we will post for all our teachers to see.
BENEFITS FOR STUDENTS!
The grade with the highest parent giving participation (or any grade that reaches 100%) will receive a pizza party AND a dress down day.
So please make a thoughtful gift based on your own financial situation, whether it's $5 or $5,000.
P.S. If you prefer to donate by cash or check, we can manually add your gift to GiveCampus.
P.P.S. When making a gift, please choose your student's grade level. If you have more than one student, you have the option of spreading your gift across multiple grade levels.
Thank you to all the parents who made our 2020 Parent Campaign a great success. 138 of 195 families (71%) donated $42,700, surpassing our $40,000 goal! You have made your voice heard loud and clear: You love our teachers and highly value a Boston Trinity education.
Our teachers are looking forward to sharing in this victory when we enjoy a fantastic lunch together.
Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for. The classes with the highest percentages of parent participation are...
The 6th and 9th Grades! The 6th grade reached 100% participation. The 9th grade is the largest class and reached 88%. These two classes will enjoy a pizza party and dress down day in the coming weeks. Congratulations!
With 71% participation, we surpassed last year's 67%. But wouldn't it be great to say that we got to 75%? If just 8 more families make a gift, we can reach 75%! If you have not yet made a donation, will you please join the 138 families who have shown their support by making a gift now?
Again, thank you to everyone who made a gift (or will give!) to support Boston Trinity Academy's Parent Campaign!
Sincerely,
Danny Tao

THANK YOU so much to all of the parents who have contributed to our Parent Campaign! We only have a few hours left in the campaign. We would love to see every grade level reach 100% giving.
For our last update, we are sharing the current participation numbers. Right now, the 9th grade is in the lead to win a pizza party and dress down day. We have also included the number of families needed for each grade level to reach 100%.

For several grades, we need less than 10 families to contribute!
Please know that we are so grateful for your love and support. It means the world to our teachers.
With gratitude,
Danny Tao

Parent, Grades 6 and 9
The top TWO classes (or any class that reaches 100%) will win a pizza party and dress down day. The sixth grade has already won. Who's next?!
3 PM (Way to go, 8th grade!):

2 PM (The 10th grade is catching up!):

1 PM:

Dear Parents,
Our 2020 Parent Campaign ends at midnight tonight.
Two-thirds of our families have now made a gift to support BTA. I am profoundly grateful to each and every one of you who has given. For those of you remaining, may I make one final appeal? Please, don't hesitate. Make your gift now.
Your support is vital to the success of our school. Donations make up 20%, or about $750,000, of our budget. Without your support, we can't hire and retain the most dedicated and talented faculty. We can't maintain small class sizes. We can't keep tuition low and offer over 50% of our families a scholarship. In short, we can't provide the transformational Christian education you know and love at BTA.
Did you know that 100% of our teachers make a gift to the school? This is unheard of in other schools. Our teachers know that BTA is a special community that is making a difference in your child's life. Will you join them in ensuring that BTA continues to grow in our excellence and care? Your gift, whether $5 or $5,000, shows that you stand in solidarity with our teachers. So please make a thoughtful and generous gift that is the right amount for your family.
Thank you in advance for your support of the 2020 Parent Campaign.
With Gratitude,
Frank Guerra
Headmaster
BTA Alumni Parent '08
P. S. Throughout the school day, we will be updating our participation totals every hour on the hour. Be sure to follow along and see if your class will win a pizza party and dress down day.
Way to go, 6th grade! 100% of the 6th grade families contributed to our Parent Campaign. On top of winning an ice cream party for the highest attendance at the Parent Dinner, the 6th graders will also get a pizza party and dress down day.
But it's not too late for the other grades to win! We will also award a pizza party and dress down day to the class with the 2nd highest participation rate (or any other class that reaches 100%.) The 9th grade is the class to beat, but any other class could easily catch up.
Right now, 61% of BTA families have contributed to the Parent Campaign. We only need for 26 more families to make a gift to reach 75%. Let's reach that goal by the end of the day.
Our Parent Campaign ends tomorrow. Make your gift today!
With gratitude,
Danny Tao

Thank you to all our parents who got us to 50% of our goal!
Because of YOU, our teachers enjoyed an abundance of breakfast food. They wanted to thank you from the bottom of their hearts.
We only have one more day for our Parent Campaign. Let's reach our final goal of $40,000 so that we can treat our teachers to lunch!
With gratitude,

Parent, Grade 6 and 9
THANK YOU to everyone who donated over the weekend! We made our $5,000 match. We have now raised over $36,000.
We have 2 more days left in our campaign. As of now, we only need $3,904 to reach our $40,000. When we do, we will serve our teachers a delicious lunch that our lion is sure to love.
Right now, 54% of our families have made a gift. Last year, 67% made a gift. I know we can beat last year's participation. To encourage more families to give, the top TWO classes (or any class that reaches 100% participation) will receive a pizza party and dress down day. 6th grade has one more family left. After them, 9th grade is the class to beat!
With gratitude,
Danny Tao
Director of Development
Parent, Grades 6 and 9
P. S. 10th grade, you might be last place, but it only takes 10 more families to beat the 9th grade. I know you can do it!

In today's update, senior Lauren Benjamin shares how her teachers are her role models and have inspired her future career.
Your gifts allow us to have the most caring, dedicated, and qualified teachers who help our students go beyond what they ever thought was possible for their lives.
We are very close to reaching our ultimate goal of $40,000! And we still have several matching gifts--one for 8th grade, one for 11th, and one $5,000 matching gift across all grade levels. Don't miss your chance to double the impact of your donation.
With gratitude,
Danny Tao
Director of Development
Parent of 6th and 9th graders
P. S. The 6th and 9th grades are looking great for parent participation! Can the other grades catch up?

In today's update, Nnena Iwunze shares how teachers like Ms. Wan help her children, Somachi (10) and Mimi (7), succeed in all areas of their lives.
Your support makes it possible for BTA to hire and retain passionate, caring teachers.
If you haven't given yet, I have an idea. Ask your child today who their favorite teacher is and why. Then, make a gift - whether $25 or $2,500 - in honor of that teacher!
Don't forget--we have a generous $5,000 match, available until Sunday night. We still need $3,789 to fulfill this match. This will put us even closer to our $40,000 goal and treating our teachers to lunch!
To make your gift, go to bostontrinity.org/parentcampaign.

P. S. The participation rates just keep on climbing! Maybe the pizza party and dress down day can go to TWO grades...

Great news! Because of your generous gifts, we blew past the halfway point of the campaign. We have now raised $26,285! THANK YOU! To celebrate this milestone we will be providing the teachers with breakfast. Thanks for showing them the love with your heartfelt messages!
There are just 6 days left in the campaign. If you have yet to make your gift, would you please join in today? Until Sunday, a generous parent will match your donation, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000. If we raise this, we will be at $35,000 by Monday. Please take advantage of this opportunity before it is too late.
With gratitude,

P. S. Sixth grade is still in first, and seniors are currently in last place with parent participation. Can't wait to see who gets pizza and a dress down day!

We are less than $1,000 away from serving breakfast to our teachers! Let's hit our halfway mark of $20,000 by the end of today.

P. S. Who's going to win the pizza party and dress down day? The sixth grade is currently in the lead with parent participation!

839 days ago by Caitlin LeeThanks again to everyone who came to our Parent Dinner and made our campaign kickoff a success! Check the video above that highlights how BTA has made a difference in our students' lives.
As of today, we are only $6,710 away from treating our teachers to breakfast! Let's hit our halfway mark goal of $20,000 by Wednesday, February 5 so that our teachers can enjoy a delicious breakfast this week.
We also have several matching gift offers for almost every grade level. Remember, the grade with the highest percentage of families giving (or any grade that reaches 100%) wins a pizza party and dress down day.
Help your student get some pizza while wearing jeans to school by making a gift. Thank you!

P. S. It was a close race...but the 6th grade had the highest percentage of parents attending the Parent Dinner and have won an ice cream party!

Thank you to all of our families who joined us at the Parent Dinner last night! This was our biggest Parent Dinner with 137 people in attendance. We dined on delicious food from Mexico and Canada and got a chance to meet many other parents.
During the evening's program, Headmaster Frank Guerra spoke about God's miraculous provision during our Legacy Campaign. We hope to begin construction of our gymnasium this spring. Dr. Teri Elliott-Hart, who oversaw J-Term, shared eloquently about how weeks like J-Term foster a lifelong love of learning for both students and faculty. Here is an overview video of what your children accomplished this week in J-Term.
We also kicked off our Parent Campaign. The Balboni family's matching gift was met within seconds as we quickly raised $12,115!
We are now 30% of the way to our $40,000 goal by next Wednesday, Feb. 12. Our hope is for 100% of our parents to work together to reach (and surpass!) our goal. Your support means the world to our teachers.
Let's try and hit our halfway mark of $20,000 by this Wednesday, Feb. 5. If we do, we'll give our teachers a scrumptious breakfast this week!
Thank you again to everyone who attended the Parent Dinner. And thank you especially to those who volunteered their time. We appreciate all that you do!
