About

This year, our Parent Campaign theme is "Known and Loved." This is an integral part of our mission at BTA. Your gift today shows your appreciation to our teachers for knowing and loving your children. It also helps to ensure that we continue to hire, develop, and retain the best teachers possible in a small classroom environment.

Our teachers are so committed to your students that they *ALL* give a part of their salary back to the school as a donation! 100% teacher giving participation is unheard of in other private schools.

Let's show our teachers how much we value them by reaching 100% parent giving participation ourselves!

Last year, 67% of our families made a gift. This year, on our march toward 100%, our goal is to reach (at least) 75% parent participation (146 families)

BENEFITS FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS!

Reaching certain giving participation milestones unlocks blessings for our teachers:

  • 73 families (50% of our goal) - Breakfast will be served to our teachers
  • 146 families (our goal!) - Lunch will be served to our teachers

On top of that, when you make a gift, you will have the opportunity to write an encouraging note that we will post for all our teachers to see.

Words of encouragement for our teachers last year

And to make things fun, the grade with the highest parent giving participation (or any grade that reaches 100%) will receive a pizza party AND a dress down day. This is attainable for every grade because it is about participation and not reaching a certain amount of money. So please consider making a thoughtful gift based on your own financial situation, whether it's $5 or $5,000.

P.S. If you prefer to donate by cash or check, we can manually add your gift and change the parent percentage offline on GiveCampus accordingly.

P.P.S. When making a gift, please choose your student's grade level. If you have more than one student, you have the option of spreading your gift across multiple grade levels.

Teachers and Tacos: One Final Thanks!

On Friday, the faculty and staff were delighted to enjoy a taco bar lunch catered by La Taqueria in Roslindale. This was the celebrations lunch that was promised upon successful completion of our Parent Campaign on GiveCampus. All the teachers were encouraged by your messages of appreciation which were printed and displayed on the faculty room wall:

  • "We love the amazing, fun, dedicated, loving, creative, faithful and faith-filled teachers of BTA!"
  • "We thank you for your great work and moral guidance. You make a difference through relationships and support every day."
  • "Your passion is contagious!"
  • "Thank you BTA for all that you do for our kids and ultimately for the kingdom of God."
  • "Words cannot express the love we have for you! We are always praying for you!"

Thank you, Parents, for your outpouring of support for our teachers and your generosity toward Boston Trinity Academy! We've been blessed!

Remember, we are still working our way toward 75% parent participation goal for the year, so if you haven't made your gift yet, give today!

Sincerely,

And the winner is...

Thank you again to all the parents who made our 2019 Parent Campaign a great success! Thanks to a couple late gifts, we surpassed our goal of 145 donors to the parent campaign! In total, we raised over $36,500!

Our teachers are looking forward to sharing in this victory when we enjoy a fantastic lunch together. And be on the look out for Wicked out of Sync, coming out of retirement for one final swan song!

Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for.

The class with highest percentage of parent participation is...

The 6th Grade! This is the first class in BTA history to reach 100% parent participation! They will enjoy a pizza party and dress down day in the coming weeks. Congratulations!

Overall, we reached 68%, surpassing last year's parent participation rate! We're just 15 families shy of our goal for the year of 75%, so if you haven't made a gift yet, I hope you will do so!

Again, thank you to everyone who made a gift (or will give!) to support Boston Trinity Academy's Parent Campaign! It's only with your help that we can live out our calling: EVERY student, known and loved!

Sincerely,

Danny Tao

THANK YOU!!!

Thank you to all our parents who helped to make our 2019 Parent Campaign  a success! While we're three donors short according to GiveCampus, in the last few hours of the campaign, several parents reached out and asked us to count their forthcoming donations. And we also see that several donations came in just after 5 pm. We'll tally all these donations and let you know the final number on Tuesday. As you can see, we're eager to serve our teachers the lunch they deserve for all their hard work. :-)

In the meantime, please know that we are so grateful for your love and support. It means the world to our teachers to know that you have their back.

Have a wonderful long weekend!

Important Message from the Headmaster

Dear BTA Parents,

Our 2019 Parent Campaign ends at 5pm today. I am profoundly grateful for each parent who has given to support the teachers who know and love each and every student here at BTA.

For those of you who have yet to make a gift, may I make one final appeal? Please, don't hesitate. Make your gift now.

Boston Trinity's annual fund is vitally important to the success of our school. It enables us to keep tuition as affordable as possible, provide scholarships, and most importantly, attract and retain the amazing faculty who know and love your students.

I was so amazed with how BTA parents stepped up to support our Legacy capital campaign. We need you to do it again.

If you haven't given yet, please join me and 100% of our faculty and staff in supporting BTA's annual fund by making a gift to the parent campaign before it ends at 5pm tonight.

We look forward to celebrating in a lot of fun ways if we reach our goal - including lunch for the teachers and a fun faculty lip sync performance. (Yes, if we reach 100% you'll get to see me don the Super Man suit again with "Wicked Out of Sync"!)

Thank you in advance for your support of the 2019 Parent Campaign!

With Gratitude,

Frank Guerra

Update #10: 🚨🚨Hurry! Just hours left to give to the 2019 parent campaign! 🚨🚨

Just a few hours to go and we need 36 more donors - maybe that's you!

If you’re one of the few families left to help us make it to our goal, please join in with the other parents and get us there!

  • Help your child’s class win a pizza party and dress-down day!
  • Help the teachers win lunch!
  • Call “Wicked Out of Sync” back from retirement!

Most importantly, reaching our goal signals to our teachers that you are in it together with them. Even if you can only give $10, it can turn into $120 because of our matches. Every gift counts towards our goal, no matter the amount.

Please watch our video and join Bernadine in supporting our teachers today.

Thank you for breakfast! Let's feed our teachers lunch!

Thank you to all our parents who got us to 50% of our goal!

Because of YOU, our teachers enjoyed an abundance of breakfast food. In fact, one teacher wrote to us, "I've had about 4 breakfasts today. All delicious. Thank you!"

We've got just 40 parents to go in the next 25 hours to reach 100%!

We can't wait to feed our teachers lunch and enjoy a performance from Wicked Out of Sync! Not to mention two extraordinary matches. The next 35 donors who make a gift of ANY amount will unlock $3,500 ($100 per donor!). And there is still $685 left of a dollar for dollar match. YOU can help us get there! Make a gift now or reach out to other parents and ask them to join you.

Please don't let us lose this money. Every dollar helps to ensure that our children are known and loved!

Thank you, Parents!!!

Update #9: Want 47 amazing reasons to give by Friday?

From now until Friday at 5:00 PM, a generous parent has offered to give $100 per donor for the next 45 donors that makes a gift. That’s $4,500 that can go to the school. All we need is 45 families to make a gift NO MATTER THE AMOUNT.

That’s 45 great reasons to give to the school. Want one more? There’s still a $1,375 dollar for dollar match remaining. Together, BTA could receive $5,875 of additional money. PLEASE do not let us lose these amazing offers!

Want even one more reason? Your gifts allow us to have the most caring, dedicated, and qualified teachers who know and love our children. We are excited to share the heartwarming story of Yaritza Gomez '12. Her transformation all came down to being known and loved.

That’s the difference your giving makes. Thanks for your partnership together.

Update #8: What's the big deal about Dr. Milway?

Our students love Dr. Milway. Why? Watch as seniors share how he is an example of how all our teachers know and love our students.

Your support makes it possible for BTA to hire and retain passionate, caring teachers like Dr. Milway.

If you haven't given yet, I have an idea. Ask your child today who their favorite teacher is and why. Then, make a gift - whether $25 or $2,500 - in honor of that teacher!

There are just three days left for you to give to the Parent Campaign! Three days left for you to win a pizza party and dress down day for your child. Three days left to win a lunch for all the teachers. Three days left to bring Wicked Out of Sync out of retirement. And three days left to take advantage of a $2,500 dollar for dollar match.

Most importantly, only three days left to jump in and show your appreciation for the teachers who know and love your child.

Give before it's too late. Make your gift today.

Update #7: Milestone Reached and Breaking News!

Great news! Because of your generous participation this weekend, we have passed the halfway point of the campaign. Eighty-seven families have joined in, reaching 60% of our goal. To celebrate this milestone we will be providing the teachers with breakfast on Valentine's Day. Thanks for showing them the love with your heartfelt messages!

There are just 4 days left in the campaign. If you have yet to make your gift, would you please join in today? Right now, a generous parent will match your donation, dollar for dollar, up to $2500. Please take advantage of this opportunity before it is too late.

In fact, we have breaking news! If we reach 100% of our 145 donor goal, the musical sensation, Wicked Out of Sync, starring Frank "Headmaster" Guerra, Kris "Hot Rod" Loper, and Mike "Mad Dog" Milway, will come out of retirement for one more electrifying performance! For those of you who missed their show at Homecoming, you can watch it here on Vimeo

So please, make your gift online today, or bring check or cash to the Front Office marked for the Parent Campaign. Thanks everyone!

Update #4: Our teachers need ☕🍩. You can help!

We’re approaching the halfway point of our campaign! To reach 50% of our goal, all we need is 23 families to make a gift. Won’t you be one of them?

Our teachers rely on the support of parents to keep them going. That and coffee...

When we hit 50% of our goal, you’ll win breakfast and coffee for all of our amazing teachers! Help us reach this goal and help fuel the teachers who know and love our children. Make your gift today!

Help us get to 50% by Sunday!

We have nine days left in our Parent Campaign, and we're hoping YOU can help us get to 50% of our goal by this Sunday. Will you help us get there? We just need 32 more families to make a gift of ANY amount to get us there!

For today's update, we want to focus on Middle School! Our Middle Schoolers thrive in an environment where they are known and loved. Watch them share how their teachers do this in today's video!

Right now, 6th and 7th grade are in last place for parent participation. But it won't take much to change that!

Has your child been impacted by really great teachers at BTA? When you make your gift today, you can include a note to say thanks! Give today!

We're 35 donors from providing a teacher breakfast! Watch Jeannine's video!

Today's video features past Parent Association President, Jeannine Hodge, and her son, Luke (grade 8). Jeanine and Ed have four BTA graduates, Noah '09, Emilie '13, Christian '15, and Jonathan '18. Jeannine tells the story of how beautifully our teachers have known and loved her children and why she is giving to the Parent Campaign.

As of this afternoon, we are 35 donors away from our first milestone - breakfast for our teachers! Won't you help us reach it and bless our teachers with some yummy food and coffee to kick-start their day?

Also, remember, the grade with the highest percentage of families giving (or any grade that reaches 100%) wins a pizza party and dress down day. Right now, the ninth grade is in the lead with 27%! Help your student get some pizza while wearing jeans to school. Share, tweet, text, or email other parents in your child's grade by using the links above. Thank you!

Watch this heartfelt video from our BTA students!

The Parent Dinner was a success! It was wonderful to see those who were able to come. Over 100 parents enjoyed delicious Russian food while celebrating our BTA friendships and another exciting J-term for our students. The sixth grade had the highest percentage of families attending the dinner. They win an ice cream party!

Parent Association Vice President, Devita McConnell, launched our Parent Campaign by telling the story of how our teachers have known and loved her daughter, Danielle.  She described the support and encouragement our students receive as "surround care." She closed with a question, "With all the ways BTA blesses our babies, don't you wonder how we can bless BTA back?" She invited every family to join her in making a gift to the Parent Campaign this year.

The Parent Campaign will run for the next two weeks, until February 15 at 5PM. We will be sharing daily emails with inspiring stories. Our goal is to see at least 75% of our families making a gift to BTA. A donation of any amount counts, $20, $200, or more. The important thing is for us all to join in. The campaign is short this year, so don't delay, make your gift today.

To add a little fun, the grade with the highest percentage of families making a gift (or any grade the reaches 100%) wins a pizza party and a dress down day. There are also some great opportunities to bless our teachers if we hit 50% or 100% of our goal.

Checks or cash may be sent into the Front Office marked for the Parent Campaign. Gift not made online will be added into the total.

Thanks again to everyone who showed up for the dinner and a big shout our to those who volunteered at the event. We appreciate you!
