BC Giving Day - Sprint for 100

This campaign ended on June 02, 2020, but you can still make a gift to Bluefield College by clicking here!

Join us for BC Giving Day and The Sprint for 100 by making your gift, challenging other Rams, and sharing in your social circles!

This year, during the COVID-19 crisis, perhaps more than ever before, we've realized the importance of the Bluefield College Fund (BC Fund). The BC Fund gives us the flexibility to meet the needs of our students. Most of the time, the greatest need is student scholarships and that's where the funding goes. With the global health crisis we're all working through, the BC Fund's importance is truly realized. Thanks to the BC Fund, we were able to house and provide meals for many students who weren't able to return home, provide technology and learning platforms needed to continue classes remotely, and allow employees to continue work remotely.

#BCGivingDay is your chance to show your love and support for BC through giving to the BC Fund. The BC Fund is more than scholarships, it truly gives Bluefield College the flexibility to apply funds where the need is greatest.

The goal

In the Sprint for 100 challenge, BC aims for more than 100 alumni and friend donors as part of BC Giving Day. Gifts made between now and the end of the day on June 1 will count toward the goal. Track our progress on this campaign page and encourage fellow Rams to help reach the goal!

The challenges

There are several challenges meant to encourage support of BC students on BC Giving Day! When we reach 50 donors for the campaign, Garry '74 and Isis Jones have agreed to give $20,000, and when we reach 100 donors, an anonymous friend of the college will give $50,000! Other challenges are being added each week as more alumni and friends get excited about the campaign. You can add your own, too!
