HS Art Competition Awards

This campaign ends on June 30 at 11:59PM EDT

UPDATE: The spring 2020 regional high school portfolio review, exhibit and awards ceremony has been cancelled due to restrictions in place related to COVID-19. Donations are still being accepted and will be used to fund future awards. To support current high school seniors, the Department of Art and Art History is exploring the possibility of offering a remote review opportunity for students interested in receiving feedback on their portfolios as they prepare for college. More details will be posted as they become available.

The Bloomsburg University annual High School Art Competition showcases the artwork of high school students from across the region. All participants are considered for exhibition, and juniors and seniors are eligible to win scholarships to Bloomsburg University or cash awards.

Faculty from BU's Department of Art and Art History review the visual art portfolios submitted by area high school students. For participation guidelines, contact professor Sue O'Donnell at 570-389-5339 or sodonnel@bloomu.edu.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help provide scholarship support for future recipients as well as ensure that former scholarship winners receive funding to continue their education at BU.
