December 2022 Senior Class Gift

Congratulations on your graduation! Given the challenges you've faced during your college journey, you deserve to celebrate! Show your Husky pride by making a gift to support future BU students and we'll send YOU some special swag to show that you are a #Husky4Life. 

You may not realize it, but a lot of your BU experiences were available because alumni, parents and friends of the university cared enough to support your education. They funded scholarships, technology, professional experience grants, work spaces, research, emergency student assistance, and so much more. When we come together, we can do great things.

• Make a gift of $20.22 or more and receive a maroon and gold Philanthropy Cord and a "Proud BU Alumni" tech tattoo.
• Make a gift of $5.00 or more and receive a special "Proud BU Alumni" tech tattoo. 
• Don't need your Clicker for class anymore? Donate it at the BU Foundation offices in the Greenly Center and receive a "Proud BU Alumni" tech tattoo.
• Become an Advocate (sign and and share the page) for a chance to win a BU spirit pack of swag if two of your classmates give because of your outreach. Make sure you're signed in when you share.
• Upload a Personal Plea video encouraging you classmates to give for another chance to win BU swag..

WHERE DOES MY DONATION GO?

This year, we are asking seniors to donate to keep Huskies at BU by donating to Emergency Scholarships or Greatest Need. As many students are still recovering from unexpected financial hardships like the loss of employment, we anticipate an increase in requests for this funding.

HOW CAN I MAKE MY GIFT?

You can donate online anytime or mail a check to the BU Foundation. BU Foundation, 50 E. Main St., 4th floor, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.

DOES MY $20.22 REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Yes, yes, yes! Every gifts matters. When we add your gift to those of your classmates and the May 2022 grads, we should raise over $8,000 to support your fellow students.

I MADE MY GIFT, HOW DO I GET MY PHILANTHROPY CORD?

You can pick up your cord any weekday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Foundation offices. We are located on the 4th floor of the Greenly Center, located at 50 E. Main St. (across from Bloomin' Bagels). After hours pick up times can be arranged and there will be several on campus events. If you are at home, or completing coursework outside of Bloomsburg, please email sboucek@bloomufdn.org after you make your gift and your cord will be mailed to you.
