LEND A HELPING HAND

The Bloomsburg University Interpreter Club will be hosting our student-run Biennial Conference next semester, and we need your help to make it the best that it can be!

The Biennial Conference brings together interpreters and students from a variety of locations to experience two days of events and workshops. The conference includes relevant workshops and seminars, networking opportunities for students, an interpreting agency fair, and special performances in ASL!

These opportunities are amazing, but they come at a price. We have set a goal of $5,000 to cover the expenses for the conference. This is a large goal, but every cent is necessary for providing the best possible experience for the ASL/English Interpreting students here at BU.

MAKE A GIFT TODAY TO SUPPORT THE BU INTERPRETER CLUB

BU's Interpreting Club provides support to students who are interpreting majors, as well as other majors, by providing opportunities to become involved in the Deaf community while furthering their education through trips, workshops, special events and interaction.

The club seeks to provide hands-on real-life interpreting workshops and training in a supervised environment, providing and allowing the formation of ongoing networking of professional interpreters and student interpreters. Our club strives to provide Deaf awareness to the hearing community, and to always put our best foot forward during our time here at Bloomsburg University.
