Dear Bishop McNamara Family & Friends,

Labor Day weekend normally is a time when family and friends gather together to take a break from their work activities as our nation celebrates the achievements of workers across the country.

As our nation confronts the far reaching negative economic impact resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, many Bishop McNamara families are faced with unemployment and the numerous stresses associated with the loss of work.

We seek, therefore, to rally the community together this Labor Day weekend to help our fellow Mustangs by giving to the Bishop McNamara Family Support Fund.

Labor Day Challenge: $20,000 Goal!

Let's raise $20,000 for the Bishop McNamara Family Support Fund by Monday night ending at 11:59pm!  

We challenge our more than 12,000+ alumni and our hundreds of current Bishop McNamara families to give this Labor Day weekend. A gift of $20.21 to honor this year's senior class by a 1000 people would help us to meet our goal. 

Let's do this to help our families in need.  We call all Mustangs to help! We need your help to assist current Bishop McNamara families who are struggling as a result of job loss due to the pandemic.  

The funds collected last school year have been distributed and exhausted as a result of the need being so great.  Indeed, the need remains just as great as we begin the 2020-2021 school year.    

We know these are uncertain times for all of us, but we encourage you to consider a gift of any amount this Labor Day weekend to the Bishop McNamara Family Support Fund.

Please complete this form for our Business Office staff to apply for financial assistance if your family has been financially impacted by the recent economic downturn.  Please be as detailed as possible, and use the last field to submit documentation to support your application.  We will do all we can to gather data from all families in need, and then to distribute emergency funds based on the resources available to us to support our families.  We are in this together!  #BMHSFAMILYSUPPORT

Dear Bishop McNamara Family and Friends,

We pray that this message finds you and your family doing well during this difficult time as together, we confront the COVID-19 pandemic.

When the pandemic directly impacted the Bishop McNamara community starting in March, a fund was established to support current families who had been pushed past the brink. 

Over the next several months, more than 400 generous donors supported this fund. 

The school raised over $123,000 for tuition assistance and emergency relief, including food aid that immediately went to our families in need.

More than 100 Bishop McNamara families benefited directly from this assistance!

As the 2020-2021 school year begins, COVID-19 continues to negatively impact many Bishop McNamara families.
