Take a Giant Step for Brady

In the movie Pay It Forward, a social studies teacher challenges his class to create a plan to change the world for the better.  The 12-year-old main character creates a charitable network with the premise that when someone does something good for you, you pay it forward to others and challenge them to do the same.

Our Annual Appeal in 2022 is based on that premise.  Bishop Brady did something good for you or someone you know and now we are asking you to pay it forward.  Bishop Brady, by its very mission, helps students prepare to change the world for the better.  It's a place that instills a desire in students to engage in service to others and challenges them to rise above the expected in the pursuit of excellence.

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 by the June 30th end of the campaign.  Our challenge is to have 33% of all of our constituents participate in the appeal.  Parents, grandparents, past parents, alumni and friends of BIshop Brady - even a single, small donation will help get us to our goal.

In addition, we are asking each one of you to share your good works and pen a challenge to encourage others to "Take a Giant Step for Brady".  By sharing it out and asking others to do the same on their own social media platforms, we can crush this goal.

You can direct your donation to any area you would like.  Major needs this year include the Raise the Roof Fund to replace the gym roof, the technology fund to complete the major technology upgrade in the school, and of course, the need for financial assistance remains high as we strive to enroll all students who see the benefit of the Brady experience.

David Foy, '84, has generously offered a $10,000 match to the first $10,000 raised. 

Alumni that donate and share on Facebook and/or Instagram (#bradypaysitforward)  will be entered in raffle drawings for Brady gift baskets.  The class with the highest fundraising will be invited to a wine and cheese event followed by free admission to the Homecoming game in September.
