Thank you again to everyone who participated in our 2021 Giving Tuesday project: funding a scholarship for a student who is the first in their family to attend a college or university. We’re happy to report that 2021's scholarship recipients, Jaylon Pearson and Randon Blevins, are over halfway through their first fall term at Birmingham-Southern.
This year, the Young Alumni Council have decided to renew our dedication to first-generation students. This year for #BSCGivingTuesday, we’ve launched a campaign to fund another scholarship for a student who is the first in their immediate family to attend a college or university. This student will become a member of BSC’s Class of 2027, and any support over our stretch goal of $30K will fund additional scholarships as part of the general scholarship fund. We hope that you will reflect on how BSC has impacted you personally and help us provide that impact to a first-generation student. Give back to BSC and your community by making a gift today!
