About

The Alabama Iota Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon seeks to promote academic excellence, demonstrate civic engagement, and philanthropic outreach, and create an inter-fraternal family among all members.

"I joined SAE because I saw that the relationships brothers had lasted well beyond the four years at Birmingham-Southern. Not only do friendships continue, but also the career network that SAE provides is greater than any other organization with which I am involved. SAE has taught me to prioritize making a strong effort in all that I do and a genuine connection to everyone I meet. Phi Alpha!" -- Rob Pulliam '20

"I joined SAE to experience what a true brotherhood can do to do improve my life. The mission and the vibe at the Alabama Iota chapter has always drawn me to want to get involved in the fraternity that promotes the highest standards of brotherhood, friendship, scholarship and community involvement. I’m glad I joined SAE because I have made life long friends that I can depend on whenever I need to and that goes for my brothers vice versa." -- Stephen Won '20
