Building a legacy for a great friend and leader through the Javier Perez ’97 Scholarship

Javier “Jav” Perez was a great friend, fraternity brother and campus leader. Javier loved connecting with and through other people, and this scholarship will further his legacy of networking and relationship building for future Augustana students.

The Javier Perez Endowed Scholarship will benefit first-generation students, bi-lingual students, Latinx students, members of the Delta Omega Nu (DON) fraternity and/or students in their second or later year of school who are in need of funding to remain enrolled in school.

Doug Lim ’95, DON fraternity brother and friend of Javier, has provided an $8,000 matching challenge to building this legacy scholarship in Javier’s name. Join Doug and others in honoring Javier’s legacy at Augustana.

Thank you for honoring Jav with a donation to the scholarship that will support students for decades to come at Augustana College.

We have work yet to be done to achieve the needed funding to make this scholarship permanent but we are so grateful for your part in getting us to this point.
