Assumption University's Day of Giving – April 10, 2025
Join us on April 10 for Assumption University's Day of Giving, a special opportunity to make a lasting impact on our students. This year, our tradition of generosity aligns with Duck Day, one of Assumption’s most cherished and joyful campus celebrations.
Duck Day marks the return of the ducks to the campus pond each spring—a beloved tradition that symbolizes renewal, community, and the spirit that makes Assumption feel like home.
When we reach 500 donors, Trustee Carl ’98 and Jacqueline Cafaro will generously support The Assumption Fund with a gift of $25,000.
Alumni, parents, and friends—your support empowers Assumption students by providing the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. Whether it’s scholarships, academic programs, or campus life, every gift strengthens the Hound community.
Let’s come together—because Hounds Help Hounds. Make your gift today and be part of something truly meaningful!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we are proud to share that we’ve surpassed 500 donors in celebration of 500 Salisbury Street, the heart of Assumption University. Together, we’ve unlocked both $25,000 challenge gifts, making this Day of Giving a powerful reminder of what’s possible when Hounds Help Hounds.
A special thank you goes to Candace (McGovern) Race ’78, Chair of the Board of Trustees, and Carl ’98 and Jacqueline Cafaro for their inspiring challenge gifts that helped lead us to this moment.
To everyone who gave—thank you. Your support is helping students thrive, grow, and lead here at Assumption and beyond.
