Thank you so much for taking action to support our Mathematics Department!

Your gift means a lot to our students and faculty. Your gift will allow us to support student travel with department faculty, once that becomes a viable and safe option again.
We have recently traveled with students to Silicon Valley (CS 354 class), New York City twice (department majors and minors), Las Vegas thrice (Math 257 classes), and to professional meetings in Atlanta and San Diego (majors and minors again).

Our model for these trips is that students are responsible for paying their airfare (the Atlanta trip was made using a College van, so that was not a issue then) and certain personal expenses.
Lodging, ground transportation, meals, and admission to certain attractions (For example: NYC includes trips to the Museum of Mathematics and other New York cultural sites, Las Vegas trips include a trip to Hoover Dam and a local museum, and the Atlanta trip stopped at Mammoth Caves in Kentucky on the drive) are paid by the department.
Your support makes these trips possible and helps reduce the cost for students! The trips can be the highlight of the year for many students and alumni often look back fondly on the interactions with faculty and fellow students.

Thank you for your support! Io Triumphe!
