The graduating class of 2020 is raising support for the Student Assistance Fund through the Senior Class Gift. It is important, more now than ever, that we ensure our students, returning and incoming, continue to dream no small dreams.

The Student Assistance Fund, administered by the Office of Student Development, provides supplemental support to students with financial needs outside of the cost of tuition and fees. For example, the fund helps students in need of warm winter clothing. Members of the Class of 2020 recognize the impact that funds like this have on student retention and support.

Donations to the Student Assistance Fund have allowed us to provide support for students during these extenuating circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We were able to help with travel for students with significant financial need who could not afford the trip to get them safely home. The fund also increases our access to technology to enhance online learning opportunities, allowing students to finish their semester on a remote basis. The Fund has also helped to develop other virtual outreach opportunities that can be used both in and out of the classroom.

The senior class began fundraising for the Senior Class Gift earlier in the year, and the student leadership team remains committed to its success. During these unprecedented times, we would like to provide the opportunity for the Briton family to show support for the Class of 2020 by giving to a fund that they have identified as impactful to Albion College students.

We greatly appreciate your support of the Albion College Student Assistance Fund to help students through this challenging time.
