Pinball is an American manufacturing success story dating back over 100 years ago. Between 1950 and 1975, more money was spent on pinball than on going to the movies (source: The History of Pinball movie). Pinball machines are complex, and new models continue to push innovate ideas and technology. Pinball is accessible for people of all ages, from beginners to competitive players. Offering pinball on free play is a way for students to gather and engage while on campus, while offering our EET students real-world opportunities to practice troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair in alignment with program student learning outcomes.
